Preliminary study in the launch of a new activity or a new business

In more complex situations, we carry out a preliminary study. It consists in identifying beforehand who the leaders are in a specific sector in order to establish a list of top talents. At the end of this preliminary study, a full progress report is prepared for the client. The results help Cala Partners choose the best strategy. There are two options:

  • The profile as described by the client seems to correspond to the market. A recruiting assignment is launched.
  • The profile does not correspond to the market. Together with the client, we decide to postpone the project or to work on the initial profile so that it meets the reality of the market.

Generally speaking, a market scan helps understand the major aspects of a specific branch of industry: academic background, salary levels, development on international market, etc…

Market Intelligence

Some clients ask Cala Partners for a Market Intelligence survey. Every month, our consultants prepare a thorough and detailed report on specific sectors, functions and topics. It is followed by a Market Intelligence memo sent to our client's firm Executive Board and Human Resources department.
